1. Allow plenty of fresh air in your bedroom, even in the winter. Keep your bedroom clean and clutter free (nothing under the bed…)

2. Clutter, clutter, go away (especially from bedroom)! Nothing should ‘hide’ under the bed. Beside the technical difficulty created for dust removal, the flowing energy will be stalled

3. One of the most important Feng Shui bedroom tips is about the position of the bed. Make sure you can see the door, but do not place your bed close to the door, or in line. This is related with your security and avoiding energy loss while you sleep. Another place to avoid is directly under the window; your Chi will dissipate through the window (in the morning you will feel tired)

4. A strong, ideally wood, solid headboard is the best choice. This is protecting you while you sleep, better than a ornate metal one, or nothing at all

5. Protect your relationship, by placing two nightstands, and have your bed accessible from on both sides. Never expose sad art in your bedroom, or painting representing one, lonely person in your bedroom, unless you prefer being alone. Pair the décor items, rather then having one, or even worse, three of them (pillows, candles, pots, statues)

6. Minimize the electronic equipment in your bedroom. This is a tough one, but really important. The magnetic field will affect yours, and the quality of your sleep. If you must have an alarm clock, try to place it as far as possible from your head. A quartz or salt rock will absorb and neutralize a good part of the magnetic field, protecting your health long term

7. Avoid overhead beams, ceiling fans above your bed, and having your bed headboard under a low ceiling. If you do have ceiling beams, you can improve the situation if you drape fabric over the beams, or paint them over

8. Use soft colors for the walls and soft lighting. Avoid having a lamp above your bed

9. Mirrors are not the best in your bedroom. All Feng Shui bedroom tips are mentioning that. If you do have a mirror in your bedroom and can not or do not want to remove it, at least make sure that is not reflecting your image while you are in bed. By far, the worse position for a bedroom mirror is at your feet

10. Never bring anything work related in your bedroom (especially not a computer station). The energy you need for work is totally opposite to the one you want to have in the bedroom. You cannot possibly combine them. It is either/or; the price paid will be your health and well-being

Of course, there is much more about bedroom Feng Shui again, such as keeping the all doors closed while you sleep, including the closet doors; display only the pictures of people that sleep in the room; don't exercise or keep exercise equipment in your bedroom.

Anyways, this is not the place to go very deep with this subject, but it is a good start, and it is possible to be done. If you want to stay healthy, motivated, with plenty of energy, your bedroom is the place to first take care of. Every day you are using your energy; therefore, you want do the best you can to make sure you have are successfully replenishing it.
